Our story

Helping others provide the best possible care for their loved ones

Support for those who care

We believe by modernizing provider systems and processes, we can make caregiving a little easier.

In our experience, guardians who choose self-directed care have some of the biggest institutional hurdles to jump through. They’re not only being asked to understand Medicaid and maintain required documentation, they’re tasked with finding help, tracking budgets, and handling billing and payroll. We want to remove these burdens by creating a care provider that blends the best of traditional care and self-directed care.

Inspired by those around us

Our search for answers, and hope, began at home

Like so many families, the Davies family has worked tirelessly to provide the best possible care for their son and brother, Tate Davies, who was born with Down Syndrome. Over the years, they learned that their goal of teaching new skills and increasing Tate's self-dependence came down to the types of relationships and care he was receiving. His brother Wyatt, founder of Simpl Care, has been involved in his care from an early age, leading to an interest and desire in not only helping Tate, but other individuals with disabilities.

From passion to project

Evolving care opportunities to better suit the needs of the entire team of care

Over the years of caring for Tate, the Davies family was introduced to a variety of types of care. Some options were more traditional or templatized, making them simpler to engage, but with less personalization. Other options gave more flexibility and family involvement, but resulted in difficult to manage processes. This began their search for the best care solution for individuals with disabilities, while still meeting the needs of the guardian, their case manager, and more involved caregivers - ultimately inspiring Wyatt to start a new service provider.

Supporting relationships

Simpl Care launches in Wyoming in 2024

After taking into consideration what each member of a team of care needs, Simpl Care became an active care provider in September 2024, with the goal of providing better, more impactful care experiences for individuals with disabilities. This is being accomplished by decreasing the common burdens felt by team of care members - like scheduling care, managing and receiving payroll, and tracking and filing proper reports through an easy to use phone app.

Improving care that individuals with disabilities receive through technology

  • Find caregivers in your area, or onboard family and friends as caregivers who can get compensated for their time.

  • Simple scheduling that puts activities, events, and goal success in the hands of guardians and caregivers.

  • Real-time reporting for guardians and case managers, so you can make better care decisions.

  • Third party paperwork, payroll, and reporting all happens in the background by Simpl Care.

Simpl Care believes that better care [for individuals with disabilities] starts with improving control, transparency, and simplicity of the care process, ultimately resulting in more time and energy to focus on what really matters, personal and impactful experiences that improve an individuals life.
